Silver Sea Seafoods is an Australian owned and operated family business by husband and wife team Allan and Jacky, based out of Mooloolaba on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Our seafood is sourced from the pristine and sustainably managed waters off the South East Coast of Queensland. We specialise in providing premium quality Eastern King prawns, wild caught and snap frozen at sea, to restaurant, and wholesale direct markets, in Australia and Internationally year-round

The name Silver Sea Seafoods was created from the name of Allan and Jacky's first vessel the F.V Silver Sea, In 2020, Allan and Jacky purchased a new vessel the F.V Kelana. 


The product is caught, packaged, and snap frozen at temperatures of up to -40 degrees while onboard our vessel at sea. This process locks in the prawn’s freshness and flavour, retaining its natural state. We utilise cold storage systems & freight transporters to deliver the finest product directly to you.


Jacky developed Silver Sea Seafoods Retail and Exporting arm of the business in 2020. Jacky is the Operations Manager and Business Director. Jacky manages all aspects of Silver Sea Seafoods that don't involve being on the water. All invoicing, sales, logistics, and marketing enquiries are dealt with directly by Jacky to ensure you receive high-quality customer service and communication.


Allan is the vessels skipper. Allan started his career in 1998, working as a deckhand on South East Coast Queensland commercial fishing boats. In 2005, Allan completed his Skippers ticket. In 2014, Jacky and Allan purchased the Silver Sea prawn trawler, and in 2020 they purchased the Kelana. Since then, they have been providing premium product to the larger wholesale companies based on the Sunshine Coast and international retail and restaurant supply to both Singapore & Hong Kong.
